The Stop The Litter campaign was started at the beginning of 2010 in response to complaints from an invited audience at a forum held in St. Paul’s Hall. It is being led by Sherborne Town Councillor Peter Rhodes in conjunction with Sherborne Area Partnership, and aims to work with local people and councillors to help clean up our streets.
Litter picks are generally conducted during the day, but those who are at work can also help out by offering to keep the area round their home free of litter in their own time. The project will provide a litter picker and sacks.
