Our goal is to become an online resource to publicise news and events, projects and groups, and provide a source of reference. Welcome to Sherborne Green.

Environment Forum

Sherborne Environment Forum was set up in 2008 under the auspices of the Sherborne Area Partnership, with the objectives to;

  • Provide a vehicle to share views on environmental issues
  • Collate and return comments on environmental legislation affecting local people
  • Provide a means to stimulate and support groups of people in Sherborne and District to improve and enhance their environment
  • Work on environmental projects in partnership with Sherborne in Bloom

The aim is to provide a means to raise environmental awareness and setting up local environmental action groups to tackle local environmental issues. This applies to adult and student groups from schools in the town and area, as well as the commercial sector.

The forum meets 6 times a year, see the Events page for dates of future meetings
