This area already has some native trees and bushes and could have lots of potential for growing a wide range of delicious edibles! . . . → Read More: Time for a Community Orchard?

The Community Orchard (or Productive Tree Planting) group is interested in helping set up schemes for the planting and long term maintenance of productive trees, primarily fruit and nut trees, for people living in the Sherborne area. The aim is to help provide people with a source of free food and a new productive space where community events such as harvesting and pressing can take place. We hope that these spaces will become central to the communities they serve, acting to engage people of all ages in building resilience and sustainability, while furthering a sense of togetherness into their communities. . . . → Read More: Productive Trees for the Communities of Sherborne Area
